Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative in the United States to service power distribution equipment across customer sites and partner facilities. You will perform assembly, startup, diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance while delivering customer-focused solutions.

The role requires 2+ years in field service with UPS systems and a solid understanding of AC/DC power. Expect travel, safety compliance, and ongoing training in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or trade certification; electrical discipline experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC power and related components.
• 2+ years in field service repair and customer service with UPS systems.
• 2+ years in Field Services or equivalent.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to procedures.
• NFPA-70E or OSHA experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and manuals.
• Ability to write service reports and present information to customers.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Problem solving with customers, electricians, sales partners, technical support, District Service teams.
• Completion of field service reports, expense reports, preventive maintenance, and startup data sheets.
• Working with Manager/Regional Service Director to resolve complex escalated issues.
• Continuous learning and training on various products in the field and classroom.
