Job summary

Schneider Electric Corp is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform on-site assembly, startup, diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment across customer sites in the United States. The role emphasizes problem solving, customer focus, and collaboration with third-party partners.

The position includes 180 days of training at a state-of-the-art facility in Dallas, TX, along with ongoing online training and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or trade/vocational cert or military training in electrical disciplines required.
• Experience with UPS, power distribution, switchgear and ATS preferred.
• NFPA-70E or OSHA experience preferred; safety training on time expected.
• Strong reading of blueprints/schematics and electrical diagrams required.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills and Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Troubleshoot with customers, electricians, sales partners, and technical support teams.
• Complete field service reports, expense reports, and startup data sheets.
• Collaborate with District Service teams and Project Managers on complex issues.
• Maintain safety practices and proper use of diagnostic tools on site.
