Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative in the United States. The role focuses on service, startup, repair and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment in diverse environments.

You will work with customers, electricians, and partners, reporting on field activities, and ensuring safety standards. Training is provided, with potential travel across the region as needed, and a strong emphasis on problem solving and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Must have electrical discipline training or equivalent
• Reading blueprints and schematics
• 2+ years field service repair and customer service in UPS/power systems
• Strong safety practices and adherence to safety programs
• Ability to read and interpret operation manuals and drawings
• Ability to travel locally and nationwide as needed
• Proficient computer skills and digital tool use

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance and field modifications
• Troubleshoot with customers and partners; coordinate with support teams
• Complete field service reports, expense reports and data sheets
• Collaborate with District Service teams to resolve escalated issues
• Receive ongoing training and upskill in products and field techniques
