Job summary

Schneider Electric’s Field Service Representatives service power distribution and critical power infrastructure at customer sites. You will perform startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications, coordinating with customers, electricians, and Project Managers.

The role requires reading blueprints, knowledge of AC/DC power, and safety best practices, with 2+ years in field service and customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or trade/vocational certification or Military training in electrical-related disciplines.
• Reading blueprints/schematics is required.
• Knowledge of AC/DC power and related components is essential.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Problem solving with customers, electricians, sales partners, technical support, District Service teams.
• Completion of field service reports, expense reports, preventive maintenance, and startup data sheets.
• Work with Manager/Regional Service Director to resolve complex escalated issues.
• Continuous learning and training on various products in the field and classroom.
