Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative II in the United States to perform startup, repair and preventive maintenance on power distribution equipment at customer sites. The role emphasizes problem solving, teamwork with service districts and project managers, and accurate on-site reporting.

The position requires an Associate degree or equivalent electrical training, strong reading of schematics, and 4+ years in field service with UPS/PM responsibilities.

Qualifications

• An Associate’s degree, trade/vocational certification, Military training or similar experience in electrical-related disciplines.
• The ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Thorough understanding of AC/DC power and related components.
• Industrial/Commercial Electrical experience.
• 4+ years in field service repair and customer service with UPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance and field modification of equipment.
• Problem solving with customers, electricians, sales partners, technical support and District Service teams.
• Completion of field service reports, expense reports, preventive maintenance and startup data sheets.
• Collaborate with Manager/Regional Service Director to resolve escalated issues.
• Mentoring and ongoing training on products in field and classroom.
