Job summary

Otis Elevator seeks a maintenance operations leader to manage and train field staff in the Tampa, FL territory. You will oversee day-to-day activities, emphasize safety, and drive service excellence for customers.

The role requires 5+ years in a leadership capacity, experience with technicians, strong communication, and a willingness to travel within the territory. OTA requirements include a driver’s license and the ability to work in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; BA/BS preferred or equivalent relevant work experience (at least 5 years)
• Experience leading a team of technicians is required
• Leadership experience is required
• Elevator industry experience is desired, but not required
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
• Strong computer and technology skills, business acumen and customer service mindset

Responsibilities

• Ensure field employee safety and quality of service in your territory
• Plan, organize, and manage service field activities to meet customer needs and company standards
• Allocate resources efficiently (manpower and materials)
• Conduct field education training with field workforce
• Improve efficiencies, manage route schedules and callbacks
• Provide technical support to field staff or escalate to experts
• Authorize repair orders and track completion
• Lead change toward better efficiency and communication
