Job summary

Otis Elevator seeks a maintenance operations leader to manage day-to-day field activities in the Traverse City area. You will lead technicians, ensure safety and service quality, and coordinate resources to meet customer needs and company standards.

The role requires 7+ years of leadership experience, high school completion (BA/BS preferred), and strong communication skills. Travel within the Michigan territory is expected as part of this leadership position.

Qualifications

• High school education required; BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent.
• 7+ years of relevant leadership experience in maintenance/field operations.
• Experience leading a team of technicians is required.
• Elevator industry experience is desirable but not required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure field employee safety and quality of service within the Traverse City territory.
• Plan, organize, and manage service field activities to meet customer needs and company standards.
• Allocate resources efficiently (manpower, materials) and optimize schedules.
• Provide technical support to field staff and authorize repair orders.
• Lead change toward higher efficiency and better communication.
