Job summary

Rivian in California is seeking a Service Operations Manager to lead local service operations with a customer-first mindset. You will manage P&L, drive cross-functional collaboration with Service, Sales, Retail and Delivery teams, and develop a high-performing team of mobile technicians and advisors.

The role demands strong leadership, hands-on involvement, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience leading automotive or high-tech teams.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers, families, 3rd parties and suppliers at Rivian facilities or on service routes.
• Manage P&L, WIP and customer experience metrics (NPS).
• Lead local on-ground operations with servant leadership and hands-on mindset.
• Ensure programs comply with Rivian objectives and safety standards.
• Oversee high-value inventory reconciliation and parts flow.
• Collaborate with Service, Sales, Retail and Delivery teams.
• Drive improvements across field service operations with cross-functional partners.
• Plan logistics and meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and mentor a mobile technician/advisor team with strong customer focus.
• Lead hiring, performance management and staff development.
