Job summary

Thompson Safety is seeking a Service Representative to service and grow our assigned customer base, working closely with Account Executives to maximize company growth. The role emphasizes building strong customer relationships and driving ongoing service engagement.

Responsibilities include developing new business opportunities, maintaining regular customer contact, and participating in training programs to stay current with products and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; college degree is a plus.
• Familiar with codes, product attributes, and procedures within the safety field.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a drug/background check.

Responsibilities

• Assists in developing new business opportunities through cold calls and leads.
• Establishes contact and comfort level between the customer and company staff.
• Maintains contact with customers through sales calls and scheduled service frequency.
• Develops skills through company and vendor training programs.
• Supports in marketing programs and initiatives.
• Contacts potential customers to initiate the sales process.
• Monitors best practices by observing other Service Representatives and Sales Executives.
• Introduces and promotes new products and services to assigned accounts.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
