Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customers across the territory and nationally. The role requires hands-on installation, maintenance, and repair of instruments, with travel including overnight stays.

Remote work with supervision removed and a strong focus on customer experience are essential. Candidates should have a engineering-related degree or equivalent, 2+ years of relevant electro-mechanical experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related discipline is required.
• 2+ years of professional experience troubleshooting/repairing complex electro-mechanical, electronic, computer, or electrical systems.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 6+ years of relevant experience is required.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license in state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
• Build trust with customers and promote service agreements.
• Drive field service revenue through billable offerings and equipment moves.
• Attend product training as scheduled; ongoing training as needed.
• Travel for on-site visits; overnight travel as needed; participate in on-call rotations.
