Job summary

AchieveBio is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electromechanical instruments at customer sites. This hands-on, customer-facing role requires traveling to customer environments and applying technical expertise to maximize instrument uptime.

Remote-based in NJ/PA/NY/CT/DE/VA or NC with ~80% travel, you will collaborate with R&D and Product Management, provide field insights, and ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive service and

Qualifications

BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field.
2+ years in field service with electromechanical equipment or automation.
Strong knowledge of sensors, actuators, firmware interaction and basic networking.

Responsibilities

Perform annual maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair instruments at customer sites.
Service electromechanical systems, including firmware updates and component replacements.
Inspect instruments and setups to identify and mitigate potential risks that could lead to downtime.
Provide a high level of customer service and technical professionalism.
Collaborate with R&D and Product Management to provide field insights and contribute to continuous product improvement
Document all interventions in the CRM service system.
Travel expectations of ~ 80%.
