Job summary
Honeywell is seeking a Field Service Engineer I – Process Controls to deliver on-site and remote field service for process automation equipment. You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and commission control systems while collaborating with customers and project teams to resolve technical issues.
The role requires travel to customer sites, strong safety focus, and hands-on experience with instrumentation and control platforms in industrial environments.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of field service or related technical experience.
- Knowledge of process instrumentation and control systems.
- Experience with PLC, DCS, HMI, or SCADA systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for installation, startup, commissioning, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of process control systems.
- Troubleshoot PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA, instrumentation, valves, transmitters and related equipment.
- Perform loop checks and functional testing to ensure proper operation of control systems.
- Read P&IDs, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control documentation.
- Document service activities and recommendations in service reports.
