Job summary

Eaton is seeking a new engineer for its Early Career Field Service Engineer development program in the United States. You will gain hands-on experience with electrical power distribution equipment, deliver solutions to customers, and work under seasoned mentors across diverse sites.

You'll complete a structured training curriculum, including instructor-led sessions, virtual classes, and on-the-job assignments, preparing you for technical and leadership roles within Eaton.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, graduation date before Aug 2027
Minimum GPA 2.8
Internship/co-op or 3 months technician/maintenance experience
Not eligible for immigration sponsorship
Must relocate within the United States
Valid driver’s license with clean record

Responsibilities

Work on electrical power distribution equipment projects
Deliver technical solutions to customers
Perform complex engineering assignments including design/testing/research
Demonstrate proficiency in test equipment operation, troubleshooting, protective relays, power quality measurements
Generate timely service reports on work and warranties
