Job summary

Eaton seeks a motivated engineer for its Field Service Engineer development program in the United States. You’ll gain hands-on experience across electrical power distribution, solving real customer problems while working with seasoned mentors.

The program provides structured training, a guaranteed 40-hour base pay with overtime and travel premiums, tuition assistance, a company vehicle, and opportunities across 32 service branches nationwide.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering from an accredited institution, with graduation date before August 2027.
Minimum overall GPA of 2.8.
Minimum of one internship/co‑op or 3 months in a technician or maintenance role working on machines or equipment.
Must relocate within the United States and have a valid driver’s license.
Eaton will not sponsor CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or other immigration programs.

Responsibilities

Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment.
Deliver technical solutions to customers.
Perform complex engineering assignments including design, testing, or process studies.
Display proficiency in Test Equipment Operation, Troubleshooting Techniques, Protective Relays, Power Quality Measurements.
Generate timely service reports on work, product performance, and warranties.
