Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the CTS team, serving as the primary technical contact at customer sites for filling lines, labeling and automation. The role blends hands-on mechanical/electrical work with office responsibilities and requires extensive travel to customer plants to support new launches, quality issues, and line improvements.

The position emphasizes training customers, performing preventative maintenance, and documenting field activities to drive Amcor product

Qualifications

• A degree in Manufacturing or Engineering is preferred.
• 2-5 years of combined education or related work experience is required.
• Travel requirements 75%.

Responsibilities

• Amcor representative at customer locations, maintaining equipment and conducting preventative maintenance.
• Lead in assembly and preventative maintenance of Amcor-owned filling equipment.
• Investigate and assess condition of customer-owned equipment and recommend repairs/replacements.
• Assist with customer problems and communicate opportunities to plant/corporate levels.
• Support field trials of Amcor packaging.
• Train customer employees on proper product use and testing methods.
