Zusammenfassung

Amcor Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to serve customers at their locations, focusing on filling lines, labeling and automation applications. The role blends hands-on technical work with office tasks and requires frequent travel to customer sites to ensure performance and quality of Amcor packaging.

You will be the primary Amcor technical contact, supporting new product launches, routine service visits, quality issues, line improvements and customer training.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in Manufacturing or Engineering preferred.
• 75% travel required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
• General working knowledge of electrical systems required.
• Prior mechanical experience with filling lines and equipment preferred.
• Experience in the plastics industry desired.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

Aufgaben

• Lead in the assembly and preventative maintenance of Amcor-owned filling equipment.
• Lead in investigation and condition of Customer-owned equipment and recommendations for repair/replacement of worn and damaged tooling.
• Assist with customer problems and generate information to communicate opportunities to plant/corporate levels.
• Support field trials of Amcor packaging.
• Train customer's employees on proper product use and testing methods for market use.
• Collect data and samples from suspect ware leading to customer issues.
• Validate package performance at the customer site.
• Communicate with outside vendors on quotes, design, and scheduling of related projects.
• Perform follow-up actions to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Complete trip reports documenting visits and data to aid resolution
