Job summary

Packsize is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, configure and maintain packaging equipment at customer facilities. You will troubleshoot complex mechanical systems, perform startups, and train customers on product capabilities, with travel to various sites as required.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong customer service, and adherence to safety protocols, with base salary in the 65k–70k range and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage,

Qualifications

• Customer service focus and ability to engage with diverse client bases.
• Knowledge of Windows platforms and related software.
• Experience with hand tools and mechanical interfaces.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with MS Office or Google Suite; willingness to learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform service at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot issues using technical drawings and documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
• Conduct start-up testing and deliver customer training on product capabilities.
• Install Packsize solutions and train users on operation and maintenance.
• Prepare technical reports and manage travel arrangements and expense reporting.
