Job summary

Packsize is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, configure, and maintain equipment at customer sites in Salt Lake City. You’ll troubleshoot, start-up, train customers, and build strong relationships while ensuring safety and quality.

You’ll travel to facilities, perform preventive and emergency maintenance, and document activities. Packsize offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive base salary in the $65k–$70k range, with room to grow based on experience.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented and able to communicate with customers
• Familiar with Windows and basic software tools
• Experience with hand tools and mechanical systems
• Ability to work independently and travel as required

Responsibilities

• Schedule tasks at customer sites
• Troubleshoot issues using drawings and docs
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency services
• Continuously learn customer processes and specs
• Install solutions and train users
• Handle clerical duties: emails, expenses, travel, reports
• Communicate information clearly to customers and Packsize staff
• Exchange accurate information
• Follow safety requirements around moving parts and electricity
• Maintain strong work ethic and time management
