Job summary

Franklin Electric Co. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the Northeast US from Pennsylvania. The role requires residency in the Northeast region and frequent travel to client sites, with heavy emphasis on installation support and technical training.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot products, perform installations, and demonstrate Franklin Electric solutions at events, while collecting market insights and reporting findings weekly to management.

Qualifications

Three to five years of related water systems or industry experience (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Technology, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent relevant experience (required).
Travels 70 percent of the time, including up to 50 percent overnight travel.

Responsibilities

Schedules and provides technical training to distributor personnel, contractors, dealers, and/or installers.
Tests and troubleshoots Franklin Electric products. Supervises and assists at product installations.
Promotes and represents Franklin Electric products and programs at tradeshows and special events. Conducts product demonstrations as needed.
Collects and reports marketing information pertaining to competitive products, industry distribution or personnel changes, and customer needs or desires.
Writes and submits weekly reports, as well as special reports needed to highlight problems at specific sites and/or with certain customers or products.
