BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support hospitals and healthcare facilities in the MI territory, traveling daily from Lansing with a company vehicle provided. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8–5 with after-hours rotation on weekends and evenings, including remote and on-site support for BD Pyxis systems.

You will diagnose and repair proprietary hardware/software, perform preventive maintenance, and document field activities while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Competenze

• High School diploma plus 3 years of related field service experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of combination Hardware/Software/IT experience supporting both proprietary and standard applications.
• 24x7 after hours experience in a customer-facing/field service environment is required.
• Good mechanical, computer, verbal, written, and time management skills.
• Computer electronics, Windows OS, network experience required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Mansioni

• Diagnose, service, and resolve issues regarding proprietary hardware and software components; own the work order and document activity.
• Execute preventive maintenance and support Sales/Implementation teams as needed.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and maintain field capabilities.
• Provide on-site and remote field services including installations, in-servicing, repair, calibration, and support.
• Maintain accurate small parts inventory and strict adherence to policies for inventory control.
• Provide timely documentation of field activity, expenses, and time distribution.
