ZEISS Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a distributor-led role serving the Southwestern United States, with a base in the Denver, CO area. The position requires 3–5 years of experience with automated electromechanical systems and a 4-year degree or technical certificate.

Qualifications

Requires 4-year degree or technical certificate in technical/scientific discipline, military electronics experience, or equivalent.
3-5 years of professional work experience with complex automated electromechanical systems.
Knowledge of laboratory safety for BSL 1–3 environments; ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

Provide installation, maintenance, and repair services for complex automated electromechanical systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues and complete repairs in a single visit when possible.
Prepare billable quotations with detailed issue descriptions within 24 hours.
Complete preventive maintenance for contract customers within 90 days of SVO assignment.
Escalate unresolved issues promptly and coordinate with internal teams and customers.
Educate customers on upgrades and accessories and pass leads to proper channels.
Maintain ZEISS tools and training certifications and complete required training.
