Becton, Dickinson, and Company (BD) is seeking a Field Service Engineer for BD Pyxis Dispensing Devices. You will travel within a territory, provide remote and on-site service, perform installations, calibrations, and training for healthcare facilities, and help keep critical dispensing systems running efficiently.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree in Healthcare Technology or equivalent experience, with CompTIA A+ and Customer Support certifications.

Qualifikationen

• Associate Degree in Healthcare Technology or 5-7 years of equivalent work experience with hardware/software/IT support.
• Must possess CompTIA A+ Certification and Customer Support Certification.
• 24x7 on-call availability in a customer-facing environment; ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; immunizations including Hepatitis B, Influenza, MMR, Varicella, TB/PPD, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis, and COVID-19.
• 4 days in-office presence per week preferred for BD roles; remote or field-based positions vary by role.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive technical support for BD Pyxis automated dispensing systems, including remote troubleshooting and on-site service.
• Perform preventive maintenance, installations, repairs, calibrations, and customer training; manage service parts inventory.
• Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, expenses, and time; safeguard company assets like vehicles, tools, and inventory.
• Demonstrate strong hardware/software troubleshooting; work independently and escalate when needed.
• Engage in ongoing product training and knowledge of corporate procedures including complaint handling and Medical Device Reporting.
