Job summary

BD is seeking a qualified Automation Servicer Engineer to service Advanced Diagnostics instruments across assigned territories. Responsibilities include installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs, with travel to customer sites and a focus on delivering best-in-class customer experiences.

The role requires a self-starter able to operate remotely, with overnight travel on short notice, and participation in on-call rotations roughly every six weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical or related disciplines, or 10+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs of BD instruments using electronics and computer skills.
• Drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Lead customer expectations, by communicating work performed and follow-up plan.
• Collaborate with customers to schedule system upgrades.
• Document customer complaints in appropriate systems and ensure resolution.
