Job summary

BD is seeking an Automation Servicer Engineer to support BD Advanced Diagnostics customers across regional and national sites, working remotely with occasional travel. You will perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs using electronics and lab tools, ensuring instruments meet specifications.

Ideal candidates have a degree in engineering or extensive electro-mechanical experience, strong PLC and networking knowledge, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Solid understanding of electronics, mechatronics, PLCs and pneumatics.
• Experience communicating with IT and lab leadership for software upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, upgrade and repair instruments; ensure they meet specs.
• Drive field service revenue through PMs and equipment moves.
• Communicate work performed and provide follow-up plans.
• Schedule system upgrades with customers and document issues.
