Job summary

Waters Corporation seeks a highly motivated Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced life science instruments at client sites. You will ensure peak performance and customer satisfaction for state-of-the-art analytical equipment.

The role requires traveling to customer locations, strong diagnostics, and collaboration with sales, support, and R&D teams. Fluency in English and a technical background are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years field service experience in life sciences/biomedical devices.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, service, and repair laboratory instruments (mass spectrometers, sequencers, analyzers).
• Diagnose issues using schematics, logs, and diagnostic tools.
• Train customers on operation and basic maintenance of installed equipment.
• Maintain service records and CRM entries.
• Travel extensively to customer sites within a region.
