Qualifications

• Associates degree in chemistry, engineering, biology, or other science; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting of scientific instrumentation; familiarity with TA Instruments product suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service, training, diagnoses and troubleshoots customer problems; assists with parts management.
• Repairs, installs and uses all supported instrument models; calibrates instruments for efficient performance.
• Prepares service reports and documentation; maintains manuals and drawings for efficiency.
• Documents work in progress and completed work; submits paperwork on time to management.
• Establishes and maintains professional communication with customers and internal resources.
• Learns about service products and contracts and effectively conveys information to customers.
