Job summary
Covaris, a PerkinElmer Company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to coordinate and execute field service activities for Covaris instruments. You will be the first point of contact for technical support and will perform on-site repairs and preventive maintenance, working under general supervision and reporting to the Director of Global Service.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or technical discipline, 5+ years in engineering or service environments, and
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or technical field.
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or service environments (5+ years).
- Experience in a lab/clinical environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with electronic testing procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and perform field service activities, including installation, on-site and depot repair, and preventive maintenance visits.
- Communicate with customer accounts for scheduling and follow-up.
- Maintain service records in CRM and track warranty and service plans for each instrument.
