Job summary

Waters is seeking an Automation Servicer Engineer to service BD Advanced Diagnostics instruments across assigned regions, with remote work allowed and occasional overnight travel. You will install, maintain, upgrade, and repair complex analytical instruments, ensuring they meet specifications and customer expectations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields, strong electronics/mechatronics, LC/MS experience, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Technology, Biomedical or related field.
• Strong electronics and mechatronics knowledge incl. PLCs and pneumatics.
• Experience with LC/MS instrumentation and LIS/databases.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and repair BD instruments per specifications.
• Collaborate with service teams to drive field revenue and tool moves.
• Document customer issues and resolutions in systems of record.
• Travel up to 50% and participate in on-call rotations.
