Job summary

Sartorius North America is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the Midwest region, including IA, MO, KS, NE. You will install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory balances and moisture analyzers at customer sites, while building lasting relationships with customers.

This field-based role requires strong diagnostic skills, the ability to travel, and proficiency with mobile apps and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification with relevant field experience.
• 2+ years in field service, maintenance or instrumentation.
• Experience calibrating balances, moisture analyzers or similar lab instruments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service and technical support during customer site visits.
• Install, calibrate, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair balances and moisture analyzers.
• Diagnose issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain service documentation, reports and records.
• Manage workload and service schedule to ensure on-time support.
• Use field service tools and systems to support daily operations.
• Follow Sartorius procedures, quality standards and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and share best practices.
• Provide customers with technical guidance and product recommendations.
• Build lasting relationships to drive satisfaction and growth.
