Job summary
Sartorius is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Midwest region (MO/KS/NE/IA). You will perform installation, calibration and maintenance of balances and moisture analyzers, troubleshoot issues, and deliver on-site service to customers.
The role requires driving across territory and maintaining detailed service records. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in field service with technical aptitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a field-based
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a technical field or HS Diploma with relevant technical certification.
- Minimum 2 years in field service, maintenance, instrumentation, or related technical experience.
- Experience calibrating balances, scales, moisture analyzers, or similar lab instruments preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair laboratory balances and moisture analyzers.
- Diagnose equipment issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate service documentation, reports and records.
- Manage workload and service schedule to ensure on-time customer support.
- Travel as needed within the Midwest territory and communicate with customers effectively.
