Job summary

Waters Corporation seeks a field service technician to support BD Life Sciences equipment at customer sites in the USA. You will perform on-site service, preventive maintenance, and repairs with minimal supervision, ensuring optimal instrument performance and uptime.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or Associate degree in engineering or Biomed, strong computer skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team, with willingness to work various shifts and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associates degree in electrical, mechanical or Biomed preferred.
• Must be computer literate in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint for reports and communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must interface with customers, peers and support personnel positively.

Responsibilities

• Provide service, preventive maintenance, modifications and installations of BD LifeSciences equipment at Customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot system failures and provide on-site customer repairs; responsible for timely and effective repairs.
• Manage company assets including cell phone, computer, tablet, tools, inventory parts, etc.
