Markem-Imaje North America is seeking a Field Service Representative to support automation equipment in the Boise area. You will deliver, install, repair, maintain, and test equipment, ensuring customers' operations run smoothly.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, customer training, and collaboration with sales for demos and service activities. Strong electrical/mechanical knowledge and independent work ethic are required.

Qualifications

• BA in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 3–5 years of mission-critical field service experience a plus.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical system theory and operation.
• Interpersonal and customer-relationship management skills.
• Willing to share knowledge and conduct training to diverse audiences.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service repair and maintenance to support Markem-Imaje customers and installed base.
• Troubleshoot operational issues in the field and perform diagnostics.
• Determine customer needs and offer tailored recommendations.
• Contribute to business growth through technical involvement and teamwork.
• Install new equipment, train customers, perform emergency and routine repairs and maintenance.
• Collaborate with sales for machine demos, training, and follow-up activities.
• Maintain competency through product training and field exposure to customer applications.
