Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site repair, installation, and start-up services for semiconductor equipment at customer sites in the Fort Collins area. The role emphasizes diagnostic troubleshooting, timely fixes, and coordination with customers to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Engineering with 2+ years of experience (or an advanced degree without experience) and are comfortable traveling domestically and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
• Able to work in a clean room environment while wearing PPE or cleanroom suit.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site repair, maintenance service, and complete installation/start-up services of Lam’s systems at customer sites.
• Perform problem-solving, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Keep up to date on semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through learning and certification.
• Maintain records and reports coordinating activities between Lam and the customer.
• Serve as a subject matter expert representing Lam and delivering customer satisfaction.
