Job summary

Lam Research in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and calibrate Lam’s semiconductor equipment at customer sites. You’ll troubleshoot, perform on-site repairs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in electronics or engineering with 2+ years of field experience (or an advanced degree without experience).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of experience; or advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; able to work in cleanroom environments and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality on-site repair, maintenance service, and complete installation/start-up services at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, isolate issues to component level, and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain knowledge of semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through training and certification.
• Coordinate activities between Lam and the customer with proper records and reports.
• Represent Lam to customers and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
