Job summary

Lam Research Corporation in Chandler, AZ seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, repair, and service Lam’s complex semiconductor systems on customer sites. You will diagnose issues, perform field modifications, and ensure equipment uptime.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience.
Master’s degree with 6+ years, or equivalent work experience.
Experience in installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and operation manuals.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; able to work various shifts.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site repair, maintenance, and installation/start-up services of Lam’s complex systems at customer sites.
Analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose, isolate issues, and solve problems to minimize downtime.
Perform field modifications and updates, maintaining records and reports to coordinate activities between Lam and the customer.
Serve as a subject matter expert, delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and leading customer meetings.
Coach and delegate to junior engineers to ensure project completion on time.
