Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Field Service Engineer in a hybrid on-site and remote work model. You will perform on-site repair, maintenance, and installations of complex semiconductor equipment at customer sites, diagnosing and resolving issues while minimizing downtime.

Travel, strong communication, and ongoing certification are expected as you support Lam’s premier lifecycle services. Responsibilities include coordinating activities with customers, documenting progress, and acting as a Lam

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of experience or advanced degree without experience.
• Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; flexible shifts including overtime/on-call.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality on-site repair, maintenance service, and installation/relocation start-up services at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostics, isolate issues to component level, and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Keep up to date on semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through learning and certification.
• Maintain records and reports to coordinate activities between Lam and the customer.
• Represent Lam to customers and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
