Job summary

Solutech is hiring a Field Service Engineer 2 to perform on-site service, repair, and installation of medical devices. You will provide technical support to customers, diagnose failures, and record service details in our systems.

Traveling to client sites, you will maintain documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service excellence. The role requires strong electro-mechanical engineering skills, English proficiency, and customer-facing communication.

Qualifications

• Expert professional experience with electronic and electro‑mechanical engineering and calibration equipment.
• Experience with micro-computers/PC-based systems.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer-facing skills.
• Proficient at diagnosing hardware and software problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site or in-house service, repair and/or installation of company-serviced products.
• Provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment.
• Serve as customer contact on technical and service-related problems.
• Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures; determine cost-effective repairs.
• Input detailed service records into company systems with actions and parts used.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for operating characteristics and performance.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required to support customers.
