Job summary

Solutech is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 (FSE 2) to support critical medical devices in the United States. The role involves on-site installation, repair, and calibration, with a focus on reducing mean time to repair while maintaining customer trust.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. You will diagnose issues across hardware, software, and networks, require travel domestically and internationally, and document all service activities in our information systems.

Qualifications

• Expert in electronic and electro‑mechanical engineering.
• Experience with testing, calibration, and verification equipment.
• Proficient with PC-based systems and diagnostic tools.
• Strong client-facing attitude and clear communication skills.
• Familiar with MS Office and enterprise software applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service, repair and installation of company-serviced products.
• Provide technical support on operational aspects of system equipment.
• Serve as customer contact on technical and service-related problems.
• Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures using established procedures.
• Determine cost-effective repair to minimize customer downtime.
• Prepare reports for analysis of product failure trends and serviceability issues.
• Input detailed service records into Salesforce and related systems.
