Job summary

Solutech is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 to perform on-site service, repair and installation of company-serviced medical devices. You will diagnose equipment failures, provide technical assistance to customers and coordinate parts and documentation to ensure timely resolutions.

The role requires expert electro-mechanical engineering skills, experience with micro-computer/PC-based systems, and proficiency with standard office software.

Qualifications

• Expert in electronic and electro-mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of micro-computers/PC-based systems.
• Client-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
• Fluency in English; written and spoken; local language proficiency.
• Proficient at diagnosing and repairing routine software and network problems.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site or in-house service, repair and/or installation of company-serviced products.
• Provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment.
• Serve as customer contact on technical and service-related problems.
• Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures using established procedures.
• Determine most cost-effective repair/resolution to minimize downtime.
• Prepare reports analyzing product failure trends and serviceability issues.
• Input detailed service visit records into company systems to update maintenance information.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and safety guidelines.
