Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Trane US (MEUS-IAD) is seeking a Service Engineer in the Mason, OH area. You will provide on-site and call-center technical support for machine tools, CNCs, and automation systems, diagnosing issues, installing software, and promoting value-added services to improve uptime.

Expect up to 80% regional travel and a focus on customer satisfaction, documentation, and collaboration with Senior Engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
3+ years of field service for industrial automation.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Hands-on use of voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and test equipment.
Ability to read schematics, logic, and procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Experience in a customer-focused, team environment.

Responsibilities

Provide intermediate technical service and support to MTBs, dealers, and end-users on-site.
Provide on-site service at customer facilities using knowledge of electro-mechanical assemblies and diagnostics.
Log and track customer requests in the help center while maintaining data integrity.
Diagnose equipment breakdowns and perform field servicing to maintain uptime.
Install components and software offered by MEUS-IAD, including tuning and maintenance.
Promote value-added services to improve uptime and support key initiatives.
Maintain accurate service records and participate in company training.
