Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Trane US is seeking an experienced application engineer to provide technical support for industrial automation products and to deliver training to customers, distributors, and MEUS-IAD personnel.

The role requires travel up to 50% across North America, with strong PLC/VFD/HMI/servo knowledge. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and the ability to work in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of application experience with industrial automation products.
• Experience with PLC, VFD, HMI, Servo, Control Networks and other industrial automation applications.
• Must be able to travel internationally, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for products and applications to sales channel personnel and key accounts.
• Provide on-site application engineering and product consulting.
• Serve as the escalated technical resource (SME) to Diamond Elite distributors.
• Maintain technical documents and documentation on MEUS-IAD products.
• Develop technical/application notes detailing start-up procedures of new products.
• Maintain knowledge of new products through self-study and hands-on testing.
• Provide training and demonstrations to customers, distributors and MEUS-IAD personnel.
• Deliver presentations to external organizations or entities.
