Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Trane US (MEUS) is seeking a Service Engineer to provide on-site field service and call center support in the Los Angeles area. You will diagnose equipment, install software, and promote value-added services to maintain customer uptime.

Responsibilities include on-site troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with Senior Engineers. Travel up to 80% based on customer demand; requires BS in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field and 3+ years of field

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
• 3+ years of field service for industrial automation
• Valid driver's license with clean record
• Experience with electrical/mechanical tools for machine repair
• Hands-on use of test equipment like voltmeters and oscilloscopes
• Ability to read technical docs including schematics
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Customer-focused, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service and support to customers (MTBs, dealers, end-users).
• Perform on-site service using knowledge of electro-mechanical assemblies, system operations, programming, and diagnostics.
• Log service activity and follow-ups in the database with data integrity.
• Diagnose equipment breakdowns to maintain customer uptime.
• Install components, software, and solutions offered by MEUS-IAD.
• Present and sell value-added services to support uptime goals.
• Coordinate with Senior Engineers and participate in training programs.
• Create/update technical documentation.
