Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. is seeking a Service Engineer for the Buffalo, NY area.

Under moderate supervision, you will provide intermediate technical service and support to machine tool builders, dealers, and end-users through on-site visits and high-volume call center support. Essential duties include diagnosing equipment, installing components and solutions, maintaining records in CRM, scheduling travels, and promoting Mitsubishi products and value-added services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent, or related experience.
• 3-6 years of experience in field service for industrial automation.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical tools for machine repair.
• Hands-on experience with voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service and support to customers, including MTBs, dealers, and end-users.
• Provide on-site service at customer facilities using knowledge of electro-mechanical assemblies, system operations, programming, and diagnostics.
• Log in as an agent in a high-volume call center to support customer requests and meet response goals.
• Provide responsive customer support through phone, email, text, chat, and other channels.
• Enter technical claims, service activity, follow-ups, opportunities, and inquiries into CRM or case-management databases.
• Maintain accurate, timely records to support utilization goals and reporting.
