Job summary

GE HealthCare seeks a Field Engineer I to perform on-time preventive maintenance across multiple modalities. You will learn troubleshooting and installation techniques, working with senior engineers on-site and remotely, to deliver service excellence and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes adherence to FMIs/ISIs, escalation procedures, and collaboration with regional teams to support key accounts. Relocation may be provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience with Web applications and Microsoft Office suite.
• Education or experience in electrical/biomedical/mechanical engineering or related field.
• Background check and immunization/testing requirements as per GEHC policies.

Responsibilities

• Learn to complete on-time preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Assist experienced field engineers with equipment installation and service repairs.
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure resolution and follow-up.
• Maintain customer service logs and internal service records timely.
• Engage with commercial colleagues on sales leads and revenue programs.
• Work with region and national support to resolve issues via the escalation process.
• Be part of the account community for key customers.
