Job summary

GE HealthCare in Georgia is seeking a Field Engineer I to perform preventive maintenance on multiple modalities and assist with equipment installation and troubleshooting. You will work with experienced engineers, onsite and remotely, to ensure timely service and high customer satisfaction.

Role includes learning FMI/ISI procedures, maintaining logs, and communicating with customers to resolve issues and promote value-added services. Willingness to be on-call may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have engineering degree or military equivalent or completion of GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or externship program.
• Experience with Web applications and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Background check incl. post-offer drug test and compliance with customer access policies.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform on-time preventative maintenance, FMIs/ISIs on equipment.
• Assist experienced field engineers with equipment installation and basic troubleshooting.
• Engage with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up for satisfaction.
• Maintain service logs, order parts, and manage cycle times.
• Communicate effectively with teammates and customers to identify value-added services.
• Support sales opportunities such as contract renewals and revenue programs.
