Job summary

Outset Medical, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the Tablo Dialysis System at hospitals, clinics or patients' homes.

You will travel across the United States, collaborating with clinical staff and cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance. The role requires a foundation in engineering principles, extensive field service experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.

Qualifications

• Associates degree (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Fluidics) recommended or military equivalent.
• 5+ years Field Service/Industry experience required.
• Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and fluids components.
• Must have valid driver’s license and own transport until company fleet car is provided.
• Ability to charge travel expenses on a personal credit card to be reimbursed by the company.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and repair Tablo Dialysis Systems at customer facilities or patient homes.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance incl. calibrations and upgrades.
• Serve as SME on the Tablo product and support stakeholders.
• Provide first/second level technical support, including after-hours coverage.
• Document service activities and manage spares inventory in ERP.
