Job summary

Outset Medical is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to install, diagnose and repair the Tablo Dialysis System at clinics and patients’ homes. You will report to the Manager, Field Service and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure peak system performance and patient care.

This position requires a solid engineering foundation, willingness to travel nationwide, and collaboration with cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Fluidics recommended.
• 5+ years field service/industry experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and repair Tablo Dialysis Systems at customer facilities or patient homes.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance including calibrations, upgrades and verification of system specifications.
• Provide first and second level technical support to customers, including after-hours coverage.
• Accurately document service activities and manage assets/inventory within ERP.
