Job summary

Outset Medical in the United States seeks a Field Service Engineer II to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the Tablo Dialysis System. You will work with clinical staff and patients, diagnosing issues and implementing solutions, traveling as needed.

You will document service activities, support cross-functional teams, and contribute to training and SOPs while adhering to the Quality Management System; extensive US travel is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years field service/industry experience.
• Associates degree (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Fluidics) recommended or military equivalent.
• Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, and own transportation until company fleet car provided.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and repair Tablo Dialysis Systems at customer facilities or patient homes.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance incl. calibrations, hardware/software upgrades, verification of specs.
• Deliver first and second level technical support, including after-hours coverage.
• Document all service activities and manage spare inventory in ERP system.
• Support Marketing and Sales for seminars, trade shows, or demonstrations as required.
• Provide feedback to R&D regarding performance, serviceability, and customer comments.
