Job summary

Outset Medical is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the Tablo Dialysis System at customer sites across the United States. You will work closely with clinical staff, diagnose issues, and implement solutions while documenting activities in the ERP system.

The role requires extensive travel, the ability to collaborate with Production, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales, and potential to contribute to SOPs and training materials.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or military equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years Field Service/Industry experience required.
• Knowledge of electronic, mechanical and fluidics components.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel extensively within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and repair Tablo Dialysis Systems at customer sites or homes.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and verify system specs.
• Serve as SME on the Tablo product for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide after-hours and weekend technical support as needed.
• Document service activities and manage inventory and ERP entries.
• Contribute to training materials and SOPs as required.
• Support marketing and sales for seminars and demonstrations.
• Provide feedback to R&D on performance and serviceability.
• Maintain company assets and complete expense reports.
