Job summary

Outset Medical is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the Tablo Dialysis System at customer facilities and patients' homes. You will work closely with clinical staff, documenting all activities and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Associates degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Fluidics recommended or military equivalent.
5+ years Field Service/Industry experience.
Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and fluids components.
Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, and own transportation until company fleet car provided.
Ability to travel extensively within the United States.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot and repair Tablo Dialysis Systems at customer facilities or patients' homes.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance including calibrations, upgrades and verification of system specs.
Provide technical SME support to customers and internal stakeholders.
Deliver after-hours, holiday, and weekend coverage as needed.
Document all service activities and manage spares inventory in the ERP system.
Prepare field service and expense reports to standards.
Support Marketing and Sales for seminars or demonstrations as required.
Provide feedback to R&D on performance and serviceability.
